We start our day early to make the most of our time amidst the serene beauty of Phulchowki. 6:30 AM: Arrival at Phulchowki Base
After a brief orientation and safety briefing, we lace up our hiking boots, adjust our backpacks and set out on our hike.
7:00 AM: Ascent Begins
With spirits high and energy levels peaked, we commence our ascent along the well-defined trails that wind through dense forests of rhododendron, oak, and pine.
9:30 AM: Midway Rest Stop
After a steady climb, we reach a designated rest area where we take a well-deserved break. Here, we refuel with snacks and water, soaking in the tranquil ambiance of the mountainside.
11:00 AM: Final Push to the Summit
Energized and rejuvenated, we resume our trek towards the summit of Phulchowki. The trail becomes steeper as we ascend higher, but our determination propels us forward.
12:30 PM: Summit Achievement
After several hours of hiking, we finally reach the summit of Phulchowki, where breathtaking vistas unfold before us. The Kathmandu Valley stretches out below, while snow-capped peaks punctuate the horizon.
1:00 PM: Lunch
With appetites sharpened by the fresh mountain air, we enjoy a lunch amidst the scenic splendor of the summit.
2:00 PM: Descent Begins
As the afternoon sun begins its descent, we reluctantly bid farewell to the summit and commence our journey back towards the base.
4:30 PM: Return to Kathmandu
